Do you already sell your building products in the USA and Canada or do you see a potential market here? Take advantage of the opportunity to have your facades, doors and windows tested directly in Germany! Thanks to our cooperation with Keystone, our tests are officially recognized in the USA and Canada. With our accredited tests for driving rain, air permeability and wind load, we are one of the only testing laboratories from Germany that are listed with the renowned American certifier:

Thanks to our cooperation with Keystone, you can save time and money when transporting your products as well as travel costs and at the same time rely on compliance with German accredited standards.

We offer a wide range of tests according to NAFS, CSA and AAMA standards, including AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440, NAFS, ASTM E330, ASTM E283 and ASTM E331. We will continue to expand this portfolio.

Our tests take place directly at the PfB in Rosenheim, Germany, and we work closely with our customers to coordinate the required test specimens and test matrices. Both preliminary and main tests can be performed here, and our test reports and results are fully recognized in the American and Canadian markets.

The NAFS (North American Fenestration Standard), also known as AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440-11, provides a standardized classification of products by type, performance class and level, and test size. This classification facilitates the comparison of products and requires mandatory labeling with the NAFS code for each tested window and door.
Products used in public, commercial and residential buildings in the USA and Canada are subject to strict requirements. Manufacturers must test, classify and label their windows and doors according to NAFS in order to gain access to the market. These tests may only be carried out by testing bodies that are recognized by the AAMA and/or listed by certification bodies. Our collaboration with Keystone greatly assists in compliance with these requirements.
