Resistance to snow load

The manufacturer must provide sufficient information on the infill (filling) so that the load-bearing capacity of the infill can be determined, e.g. details of glass thickness and type. With regard to resistance to snow loads and permanent loads on roof windows, the requirements in section 4.2 apply. Additional requirements for roof windows against snow loads and permanent loads are specified in DIN EN 1991-1-3 and DIN EN 1991-1-3/NA, among others.
