Repeated opening and closing
Windows and external doors shall be opened and closed repeatedly in accordance with DIN EN 1191. In the case of multiple functions such as tilt and turn windows, etc., each function is tested with the same number of cycles. The different opening variants can be tested simultaneously or separately.
Test
To determine the durability of windows and extenal doors, they are repeatedly opened and closed. In the case of multiple functions such as turning and tilting, each function is tested with the same number of cycles. Exception for inactive moving parts such as fixed sashes
The parts affected by the test are the frame, the opening parts (as well as inactive sashes) and all essential, directly involved building fittings including the operating devices, e.g. window handles or door handles.
