Break-out prevention
In addition to correctional facilities and forensic and psychiatric hospitals with closed wards, breakout prevention is also required in police custody rooms.
Testing
Points such as prevention of suicide / risk of injury, protection against the positioning of objects especially in window elements, room ventilation, as well as a robust design to prevent functional failures must be taken into account.
In cooperation with the VfS (Verband für Sicherheitstechnik) as well as the relevant authorities, the PfB has been involved for several years and has developed the following draft guideline.
